Our impact
At Period Pantry, we're dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of underserved women in Anne Arundel County. Providing free menstrual products, bras, and underwear has a profound impact on women experiencing homelessness and domestic violence by restoring their sense of dignity and normalcy. Access to these essential items ensures that women can manage their health effectively. When women are better able to do this, they are better equipped to live, which can be a critical step towards stability and independence.
In underserved communities of Anne Arundel County, these supplies help bridge the gap caused by economic disparities and systemic barriers. By offering free access, we empower women to take control of their well-being without the fear of financial burden, fostering confidence and resilience. The availability of these essentials also promotes overall community health and helps break the cycle of poverty and marginalization faced by many women in our county.
The distribution of these items creates a sense of support and solidarity, letting women know they are valued and not alone in their struggles. Period Pantry raises awareness about the ongoing needs within our community, inspiring more local involvement and advocacy.
